YOUTH GROUP
High Ground Youth
Tru Church's Youth Ministry - High Ground - desires to equip students to be lights in the world around them all while building community and having a ton of fun! Students 5th through 12th grade are encouraged to join us for youth group on Sunday nights, 6:30pm-8:00pm. This is a time where students can meet with adults and peers that genuinely care about them. Students can expect engaging games and activities, a scripture-centered lesson, and conversation-based small groups. All students are welcome!
5th-12th Grade
Our Youth Ministry welcomes students from 5th through 12th grade. We intentionally play and connect together to build healthy relationships between different age groups. And when appropriate, we break up into smaller groups for biblical discussions.
High Ground
High Ground Youth was the name the students chose for our youth gathering. Other than the fact that we meet in the loft of the church, the words "High Ground" point to where we can all gather together in God's presence. Where we are all called worthy and more than enough. We desire to build firm foundations in Christ with this idea that God dwells in us and around us.
"Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died [to this life], and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory."
