KIDS MINISTRY

SUNDAY MORNINGS THIS SUMMER

KIDS MINISTRY (walkers-5th grade) will be focusing on having all of the fruit of the Spirit in their lives. Each week we will focus on a different fruit and end the summer with an epic water play celebration!

By focusing on trusting in God and filling our minds and hearts with God’s Word, the fruit of the Spirit will start to naturally be seen in our life.

Our theme Bible verse for the summer is Galatians 5:22-23 (NIrV).

“But the fruit the Holy Spirit produces is love, joy and peace. It is being patient, kind and good. It is being faithful and gentle and having control of oneself. There is no law against things of that kind.

Monthly Prayer Calendar

Praying together as a family creates a space where love, trust, and faith can grow strong. Even a few simple words spoken together can bring peace, guidance, and a sense of God’s presence into your home. Don’t worry about perfection.

Raising Disciples

In our Tru KIDS Ministry, our mission is to help kids become disciples of Jesus Christ. We do this by helping kids discover and experience God's love for them through Jesus and the Gospel. We believe that kids have the capacity to walk intimately with God, and we love to see them learn about Him and connect with Him through Bible stories, songs, and crafts.

Our Vision

Our vision is to help kids:

KNOW God’s Word

GROW in their faith with Him

SHOW God’s love to all that they encounter

NEW THIS FALL in Tru KIDS!

We will begin a 2 year journey reading through the Bible using the The Biggest Story Curriculum, a new children’s curriculum based on the bestselling The Biggest Story Bible Storybook by Pastor Kevin DeYoung.

What does The Biggest Story Curriculum offer? How is it unique?

The content is theologically rich and God-centered, with meaningful application for children. Rather than taking a disjointed, man-centered, moralistic view of the Bible, we aimed to tell the story of the Bible cohesively, with God at the center of his unfolding story of redemption.

Our volunteers are the heartbeat of our ministry!

It’s an honor to serve with each and every one of them as they love on kids each week! Every volunteer who serves in the KIDS Ministry is background checked and has committed to making the ministry a safe, Biblically relevant, and fun environment for your kids.

Our staffed classrooms are divided up into:

  • Nursery
  • Pre-school
  • Elementary (K- 2nd Grade)
  • 3rd-5th Grade

"But Jesus called them to him, saying, "Let the children come to me, and do nothinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God.

Luke 18:16

How should I prepare my kids?

Check in

Show up 10-15 minutes early to check in at the KIDS Ministry kiosk. We can help you sign in and print a label for your child/children. Feel free walk through any of our KIDS room and meet their teacher. We have an open door policy with parents too. Parents are welcome to stay and play until your child feels safe and is ready to have some fun.

Drop off & Pick Up

Children are to attend the first worship service song with their families and will be dismissed after announcements. Once children have been dismissed, the children’s ministry door will be shut so that anyone who is trying to get in unauthorized will need to be let in using the pass code. This is for security of our children during church services. At the end of service, a Kids volunteer can open the door for families to come in and pick up their children. We make sure to match the code on the child's name tag with their parents claim badge.

Thank you so much for helping us as we strive to make our KIDS Ministry a safe environment for your kids to learn about God.
